Business Projects

During the summer after my junior year at the University of Washington, I started to look for projects outside of engineering. I became involved with the UW Science and Engineering Business Association (SEBA) which introduced me to other engineers who were looking into career options outside of engineering (after graduating, many SEBA officers move into project management, consulting, or join a startup company). Through my activities with SEBA I was able to take entrepreneurial classes in the Foster School of Business, create a mentoring program, and participate in three business plan competitions, including the 2009 UW Business Plan Competition where my team took third place out of 90 teams.

Below is an image from the Investment Round of the 2008 UW Business Plan Competition.
